Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 April 2026. Effective on first use of the NORĴI service.

These terms govern your use of NORĴI. They're written plainly and read fast. If anything here is unclear, email hello@norji.co.uk and we'll explain before you sign up.

1. Parties

By using NORĴI you agree to these terms. If you're signing up on behalf of a firm, you're confirming you have authority to bind that firm.

2. What NORĴI does

NORĴI is an AI back-office assistant for estate brokers. It reads connected email, calendar, and CRM feeds, drafts replies and actions in your voice, and waits for your tap before sending anything — unless you specifically tell it otherwise via the permission rules engine.

Every draft is shown as a Decision Card. You approve, modify, or reject. The audit log records what happens.

3. Your responsibilities

4. What NORĴI is NOT

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance is announced via norji.co.uk/status. Status page shows current component health and past incidents.

If the service is materially unavailable for more than 8 hours in a paid calendar month, we credit you a pro-rata refund on request.

6. Fees and billing

7. Data ownership and use

You own your data. That includes the emails NORĴI reads, the replies it drafts, the memories it stores about your business, and any output it produces. Ownership stays with you throughout your subscription and after termination.

We process your data solely to provide the service to you. Drafting replies, scheduling, compliance flagging, commission tracking, prospect outreach you have authorised — and that is the full list. We don't repurpose your content for any other commercial use.

We do not use your content to train AI models. Not ours, not our sub-processors'. Anthropic (our LLM provider) does not train on the API traffic we send them; this is contracted, not aspirational.

We do not sell your data. Full stop. Not aggregated, not anonymised, not "shared with partners" — not sold in any form.

Deletion + retention. You can export everything via /export-my-data at any time. You can delete everything via /wrap — purged within 30 days of account closure, except items we are legally required to keep (billing records: 7 years per HMRC). Full retention schedule in the data retention policy; full processing detail in the privacy policy.

8. Our intellectual property

NORĴI's software, brand, agent personas ("The Closer", "The Watchdog", etc.), and the underlying code are our intellectual property. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service. You don't get the right to copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or train a competing AI on our outputs.

9. Liability

We cap our total liability to you in any 12-month period at the greater of £100 or 100% of what you paid us in that period. We don't exclude liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything UK law says we can't exclude.

We're not liable for:

10. Termination

You can cancel any time. We can terminate your account if you materially breach these terms and don't fix it within 14 days of us asking, or immediately for serious misuse (fraud, illegal activity, attacks on the service).

On termination, we give you 30 days to export your data, then delete per the retention policy.

11. Confidentiality

We keep your data confidential. Our engineers access production data only when required to investigate a specific issue, and the access is logged. We never share your content with other customers or with third parties beyond the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy.

12. Changes

We update these terms occasionally. We email active customers 14 days before any material change takes effect. If you don't accept the new terms you can cancel without penalty.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of NORĴI is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Before escalating, please email hello@norji.co.uk. We've not had a dispute we couldn't resolve by writing to each other, and we'd like to keep it that way.
